This Privacy Policy explains how Synapsmith (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use the website and service at synapsmith.site.

I operate as an individual / sole proprietor based in Assam, India. This policy complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules, 2011.

4. Data Sharing

I do not share your personal data with AI API providers. Any content you provide for website generation is sent to AI APIs solely for processing your request, but your personal identifying information (name, email, phone) is not shared with them.

I do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account:

• All your personal data (name, email, phone, subscription info) is permanently deleted from the server.
• Your websites and generated content are permanently removed.
• Billing records required under Indian law (e.g., Razorpay transaction logs) are retained for 6 years as mandated by law — but these are limited to transaction metadata (amount, date, transaction ID) and do not include your full profile.
• Deletion is irreversible. Please download any content you wish to keep before deleting.

I aim to process account deletion requests immediately upon self-service deletion.

6. Data Retention

I retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, data is permanently removed as described in Section 5. Billing records are retained for 6 years as per Indian tax laws.

7. Data Security

I implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — delete your account and data as described in Section 5
• Grievance redressal — file a complaint regarding data processing

9. Cookies

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
